I would like to ask how much inspiration did Eternal/2016 take from these mods? Some things here seemed very close to what I experienced at Doom 2016-Eternal, but I don't know if it was inspired by DOOM 2016 or served as inspiration. Every weapon is great and with extra functions that are extremely useful. The problem is that now I can't play any FPS other than Doom. My idea was to make room for Eternal Doom. Here is an example to run GZDoom with Russian Overkill, the ketchuptest gore mod, and the 'Doom 2 the Way id Did' megawad: 'C:\Games\DooM\gzdoom\gzdoom.exe' -iwad doom2.wad -file. I never finished without cheating, so I decided to try to play the game without cheats and with mods. The way I prefer is to make shortcuts to the executable and use the command line options. Hell, PC gaming is on another level thanks to them!!!!ĭoom 2 has a place in my heart thanks to my uncle who installed it on my PC at home in the 90s.
