Take a look at the map above to see all of the gear boxes you can raid, but be absolutely certain to explore the Wall Safe on the second floor to get the armor and finish the side quest. When the enemy threat is eliminated, you can then do some exploration. There's little to talk about as far as technique - just stay healed, keep your shields up, and use immunity if you can. There are also enemies on the second floor, but they should be lured down by all of the commotion as soon as the game's begin.
Thankfully, the first floor of the structure acts as a sort of labyrinth, giving you plenty of cover as you kill enemy after enemy. There are huge amounts of enemies in this base, and you're gonna have to kill them all in order to reclaim Wrex's armor. His best lead is the planet Tuntau, found in the Phoenix System of the Argus Rho cluster. When Wrex tells Shepard about this assignment on the Normandy in Mass Effect, he mentions he wanted to search for the turian profiteer Tonn Actus, who he suspects has his family's armor. This side quest is straight-forward enough, though you're gonna meet some stiff resistance. Find Wrex's Family Armor on Tuntau in Mass Effect. When the coast is clear, get out of the Mako and head inside the structure. There are some weak enemies standing outside of the structure that are there to guard it, but they don't stand a chance if you blast them with either of the Mako's weapons.
The Hidden Structure located on the map is your destination, so drive there as soon as you land on the planet. From your starting location, you'll need to head South, with little deviation necessary.
